Beris Pelham with Butterfly Snaffle
The classic design of the Pelham is spiced up by the innovative butterfly bar and the butterfly bar is also an absolute innovation in its function. The lateral "wings" attached to the rod increase the contact surface of the teeth, which increases the wearing comfort many times over. Additional wearing comfort is provided by the anatomically shaped recess in the middle of the bar, which provides additional space for the tongue. There is a choice of two suit lengths, either the short 5cm long suits or the 7cm long suits, which provide a shortened or extended lever. When pulling on the bit, the rod turns with its wings in the mouth and thus provides increased pressure on the tongue. Pelhams are therefore particularly suitable for "hot" horses or for horses that are difficult to get through the neck, as the rider gets more leverage. For this reason, however, this bit requires a particularly sensitive rider's hand.
